Pocket Heroes is an interesting multiplayer RPG in which you and up to three friends take it in turns asynchronously to bash the face off a variety of monsters.

You get a pretty decent RPG experience here without having to put too much effort in. We gave it a Bronze Award when we reviewed it.

Well, F5 Games has just gone and updated Pocket Heroes with a big chunk of new content full of different gameplay options. Which is nice.

The biggest of these new additions are the Raid dungeons. These are tough randomly generated scraps that take part outside of the main campaign and will test your party's skill.

Essentially, F5 Games's bite-sized battler has become even more bite sized, reducing it to almost nibble-esque levels of entertainment consumption.

Elsewhere, there's a new hero board for those who like a visual way to manage your characters. You can delete and create parties more quickly now, too.

Throw in some polishing, tweaks, and bug fixes, and there's never been a better time to call on your friends to go on some staccato 8-bit adventures.
