The Steel Media Family Round-up - September 28th
The best bits from around our sites
It's the weekend, folks. Or, it will be very soon. There's still some hours of Friday left, for some reason. Time, am I right?
Well, my standup routine may need some work, but our friends and family around the Steel Media don't. In fact, they need their work shown to more people! Hence this article! Segues!
I'm gonna go slam some more coffee - you guys stay here and check out some of the best writing on offer around our network over the past week.
148Apps
If you want some games that are like other games this week, then boy, does 148Apps have you covered. Nice folks, they are.
Specifically, they can give you advice on what to play if you want a game like The Sims, or if you're looking for something a little more Minecraft-y. They're both building related. Sort of.
AppSpy
AppSpy is Emily's domain now. Actually, so were the two articles in the 148Apps section. And most of the news on our site. Christ, Emily works hard.
Want to see what she's been up to on AppSpy? Here's five physics-based puzzlers you might want to check out on iOS. Or how about five cracking PC games you can play on mobile? Smashing.
PocketGamer.biz
Those number crunchers over at PG.biz have been, uh, crunching those numbers again. I should know what they do more, I used to work there.
Anyway, here's a great interview with Fusebox Games about the future of Love Island: The Game and its other projects, and here's their Indie Mavens discussing whether developers should release their games in Asia. My gut says yes? But check out what they think anyway.
Touch, Tap, Play
It's not just family we're looking at this week, it's our friends too. And that means Touch, Tap, Play, if you hadn't seen the title of this section.
They've got some mighty fine tips on offer for you this week, whether you're looking to be the best at Dungeon & Heroes, or build an amazing character in Vampire's Fall: Origins. Check them out!
