iPhone gaming podcast: Episode 43 - Langdell returns
Happy birthday to...?
Product: Pocket Gamer iPhone podcast | Publisher: Steel Media
Rob has turned the ripe old age of, well, you'll just have to listen to find out. So, seeing as he was forced to record a podcast on his birthday, the gods of iPhone gaming were kind, bestowing a bumper week of news on our motley trio.

There's chat about Tim Langdell's latest legal scuffle, the reappearance of the Commodore 64 emulator, Eliminate and the milestone of 100,000 apps on the App Store.

We also speculate about id bringing Rage to the iPhone in the Rumour Mine and then get right down to the nitty gritty with Doom Classic and Command & Conquer: Red Alert in the new and improved What we've been playing! section.

And if that isn't enough to entice you, you ought to know that Robocop also makes several appearances. Seriously.

Sound like fun? We assure you it is, and seeing as you can grab the podcast for free from iTunes or with your RSS reader of choice, then you really have no excuse for not jumping aboard radio PG. You can even listen to a streaming version from within any Quicktime enabled browser, by clicking here.

That's it for now. Remember, we love feedback, so if you love/hate our new jingles or think that Rob should speak only in an American accent from now on, then please let us know - we're probably more obliging than you realise.

Click 'Track It!' to be sure not to miss the next broadcast.

I find funny all the BS about fps not working on the iphone, when Eliminate´s success is proving you all wrong! I have 34, been playing fps on console and pc for years, and have only minor problems with its controls. And modern warfare before it also showed this kind of game has a place on this platform.

How about giving some actual time to the game instead just speaking based on prejudice?

What a load of bs
