Bypassing all of the insane Pokemon news stuff today, it's Wednesday which means it's time to check out what updates are on the cards this week.

Be it new content, some general tweakage, brand new events, or something totally different, it's always a good day of the week for mobile.

Arena of Valor

In this most recent update, there's been a few bits of spit and polish. The all-new Death Match is the biggest and brightest thing to take note of, but getting a main menu overhaul, exclusive Hero and Skin Tokens, and some general optimisations isn't a bad thing either.

Braveland

It's a good day to speak a different language as this update offers up eight implemented languages: English, German, French, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Russian. A fast battle mode has also been added.

Cut the Rope

To celebrate Children's Day, Om Nom's bringing some of his besties, Lick, Blue, and Snailbrow to the party. Work through 15 new levels, satiate Om Nom's sweet cravings by feeding him strawberry candy, and more.

Final Taptasy

Keep yourself busy with 250 new worlds, a new Princess, new event, and more Skins and Pack items - each of which has a rather 'bridal' feel to it.

MARVEL Future Fight

Infinity War may have been out for a few weeks now, but it's never too late for another update. This second IW update brings us more Uniforms - including Star Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Hulkbuster, and more. Plus, there's been some improvement to World Boss Ultimate as new villains are introduced.

Mobius Final Fantasy

Celebrate the Warrior of Light Story Finale as 'that special region' has returned and you can battle with familiar faces. You've also got a FFXII collaboration event, Light of the Skies, to dive into, and are graced by Zalera's presence in multiplayer.

Plague Inc.

We spoke about it a short while back, but the Royal Update is finally here. Play through two new scenarios - Ultimate Board Games and Science Denial - and enjoy a sweet, new interface. It's so shiny.

Inside

In version 1.0.4 you can now play the beginning of Playdead's Inside without having to gamble on a purchase. Enjoy the beginning at no cost and buy the rest of the game if you want to continue playing. You need iPhone 6S/iPad Air 2 or later.

Pixel Starships

It's time to get down and dirty with the Advanced Tactics Expansion Patch 2. Oo, it rolls off the tongue, doesn't it? Get more out of competitive play and have fun with 30 new crews, 50 new items, 15 room upgrades, a new event, new Ship Cloaking Weapon, new BioChemical Lab, and much more.

Pokemon GO

With all of the Pokemon news dropping today, Pokemon GO wants in on the action as the Alolan version of Exeggutor is now discoverable in the world.

Shadowgun Legends

We chatted about it in length yesterday, but Shadowgun Legends' newest update is a whopper. There's a new co-op mode with 150 missions, the ability to revisit Epic/Side quests, voice chat, two new dungeons and much more.

South Park: Phone Destroyer

Aside from a landslide of bug fixes and tweaks, South Park: Phone Destroyer now has the legendary Incan Craig to get familiar with. That and a totally new type of inspiring power.

Unkilled

This update's one to improve your experience in Madfinger's crazy zombie shooter. With two new weapons, a bunch of Hero improvements, more available Gold in Survival Ops, multiplayer enhancements, and more, this one's sure to keep you busy.
