Phantomgate: The Last Valkyrie sends players on an Easter egg hunt

Norse mythology-inspired RPG Phantomgate: The Last Valkyrie recently touched down on iOS and Android, and to celebrate its launch, publisher Netmarble is sending players on an Easter egg hunt.

The in-game event runs between now and the end of October and there’s plenty of incentive to take part. Not only are there tonnes of rewards on offer, the first Guardian to find all six Easter eggs the developers have hidden in the game will earn the title of ‘Pioneer’.

Even if somebody else snaps up the full batch first, players will still rack up a load of points for collecting all of the eggs. The first one comes with 10,000 points and the amount you will earn goes up in increments of 10,000 each time, with the sixth being worth 60,000 points.

Players can also earn points by inviting their friends to the game and checking in during the event period, and they will be ranked into groups based on how many they accumulated. Those in ranks one to three (500,000-200,000 points) will earn special Elite Phantoms while those in ranks four and five (100,000 and 30,000 points) will be handed 500 and 300 gems respectively.

The game will drop hints about the location of the eggs whenever you complete an entire chapter or a certain stage, with the first clue coming when stage three of the first chapter has been cleared.

Phantomgate: The Last Valkyrie is available to download through Google Play and the App Store Now. For more information about the Easter egg hunt, head on over to the game’s official community website.
