True Blou's Perfection! may appear overconfident, but the game's title has nothing to do with bragging.

Rather, Perfection! refers to the object of the game: achieve perfect uniformity across the playing board by putting your wits (and your foresight) to good use.

Gone dotty

The board in Perfection! is a grid set with dots. The dots are decorated with arrows that point in different directions. When you push a dot, the dot identified by the pointing arrow will be activated.

For example, if you press a dot that has a right arrow stamped on it, its neighbour on the right will be affected.

When a dot is activated, its arrow disappears. You win a level of Perfection! when all the dots are activated. It's trickier than it sounds, though, since you're bound to whatever direction an arrow happens to be pointing in.

If you find yourself in a corner and you're forced to activate a dot twice, it starts blinking. If it's activated a third time, the game is over.

Perfection! is a little bit tricky to get the hang of at first (make sure to hit the '?' icon on the title screen to get a quick tutorial on how the game works). But once you've got the instructions under your belt, you'll be perfecting the game board in no time.

On the grid

The smallest grid in Perfection! is three dots by three, which is a good choice for beginners. The largest grid is seven dots by seven, a hefty number that's sure to keep puzzle fans busy for a while. There are also Game Center leaderboards for the truly competitive dot-pushers.

Perfection! isn't complicated. What you see is what you get. It's a simple, enjoyable puzzle title that gives your brain a bit of a jog - and forces it to run a marathon if you opt for the largest grid.
