Pascal's Wager 2020 roadmap revealed, includes Casual Mode, New Game Plus, and fresh story content

Pascal's Wager may be viewed as one of mobile's most difficult games, but now the soulslike is getting an update that may please everyone. It aims to satisfy those who don't want to go to hard while also still pleasing the hardcore among us. The game's current roadmap has also now been revealed.

The game will now feature a Casual Mode, and this doesn't just do the obvious, no sir, there'll also be signposts all over the intricately designed areas to guide you on your adventure.

Naturally, your characters will be stronger and capable of taking enemies down with less fuss. No need to sweat as much anymore.

And you should be able to swap back and forth between the original difficulty and the new casual mode. So if you find that the new mode isn't to your liking, you can quicky switch back.

Or perhaps you've become skilled with the toughness of the game, but just want to chill out and tone it down a notch. It's a good way to take a break from a challenging game without stepping away from your mobile device.

Terrance will also get a fresh new outfit thanks to this update. The Heroic Herald outfit will be yours as an early purchase reward. These updates will be available on Friday, February 28th.

A challenging New Game Plus mode will also arrive in the near future. This will likely function similarly to how the Dark Souls games' NG+ works, with enemies getting a boost in health and damage output. This particular update will be out in March.

Also, some good news for you if you're an Android gamer. Pascal's Wager will be available for Android in May, or at least that's what the folks at Tipsworks hope.

Wait, there's more. In that same month, there will be a new area called The Dark Mist where you'll deal with the Marred and uncover plenty of interesting secrets.

And June wraps things up with massive additions which will include a brand new story and characters among other things. Another new area will be included here as well, so you'll have plenty to explore.

Pascal's Wager is available on the App Store for $6.99. As mentioned, it will soon be on the Google Play Store as well.
