Final Fantasy creator working on three new games for iOS
Da-da-da-daaa-daaa-daaa-da-d-daaaaa!
Creator of the Final Fantasy series Hironobu Sakaguchi was discussing his latest development project on Twitter last night when he confirmed something extremely exciting.
Well, extremely exciting for iPhone and iPad owners, anyway.
You see, the founder of the Mistwalker studio took a brief pause from promoting Wii RPG The Last Story to inform his followers that he's working on not one, but three iOS games.
I'll give you a moment to compose yourself.
TeaserWe got wind of Mistwalker's iOS development project way back in 2010 via a post on the company's blog.
Since that announcement, it seems that one game has become three, which might explain why we haven't heard anything more on the matter until now.
Unfortunately, Sakaguchi neglected to mention any further details about these three iOS games, so we're a little light on specifics at this point.
Waiting our turnHowever, a quick glance at the company's portfolio - which includes DS titles Blue Dragon Plus and Away: Shuffle Dungeon - reveals a predilection for mobile fantasy RPGs.
Whatever the genre, a trio of iOS titles from the man behind one of the biggest console franchises in history is an attractive prospect indeed.
We'll be keeping our +5 Eye of Examination trained on this one. (Or 'these three', I should say.)
