It's like having a pub in your pocket

Nights are drawing in, eh? Weather's turning, and the dust is burning off the fire. You might not feel much like trudging through the drizzle to the pub this weekend, so I-play is bringing the pub to you. Minus the beer (though the PR chap promises to buy you a pint next time you're up his neck of the woods).

Three of its iPhone pub games - PDC World Darts Championship, Ronnie’O Sullivan Snooker and Steve Davis/Earl Strickland Pool Star - are all peggling this weekend, and can be picked up for the bargain price of 59p.

PDC World Darts Championship offers three different tournaments, ten PDC darts players (Olympian athletes every one) and an intuitive accelerometer dart throwing mechanic to put your toe against the ockey in as realistic a way as possible.

Three time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan also invites you to play with his felt and balls in his iPhone snooker championship, and the Ginger Magician Steve Davis tries his hand at the pool cue should you fancy a more traditional form of pub billiards (replaced by Earl Strickland for our US gaming cousins).

Not at all a bad round up of non-cardiovascular exercise, so hit the 'Buy It!' button to check them out before Monday 9th November when it's back up to full price.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
