Galactic adventure Out There received its second in a series of Multiverse updates today, expanding the game with a new mode and other additions.

The new mode, titled Galactic Dusk, introduces a relentless modifier to your travels, turning every solar system you leave into a black hole. There's no turning back, only pressing onward into the unknown, so choose your stops carefully

While that mode may offer a tough challenge, the update also adds new technology that can assist your journey. The Stellar Embryo allows you to create a clone on an empty ship, essentially offering a second life if you perish.

Perhaps more useful is the Symbiotic Expansion technology that adds extra storage spaces to your ship, letting you to carry more oxygen, fuel, and materials.

The Multiverse 2 update is available now on iOS, and will also be coming soon to the Android and Steam versions.
