We've seen a pleasing trend of otome games - dating sims aimed at women - making their way to the west lately, and a new contender's just arrived on the App Store.
Like the Hakuoki series, Voltage's Our Two Bedroom Story is an interactive visual novel that allows you to choose your potential partner from a pair of cute chaps with the decisions you make affecting the amount of romance you see.
Our Two Bedroom Story starts with a required bit of fantasy, however.
Your character starts out working at a major publishing house and decides to get her own place. Except, she's not quite as on her own as previously thought since a convenient plot twist reveals that the office hottie is her new roommate.
Shared bathHilarity ensues, along with fleeting glimpses of your coworker leaving the shower. It's your standard otome game fare, but it's nicely presented in Our Two Bedroom Story. As an added bonus, no one will try to shame you into doing sit-ups.
The main download of Our Two Bedroom Story is free, but each of the two story paths - Minato and Kaoru - costs $3.99 / £2.99. Additionally, each story path's epilogue requires a separate IAP of $1.99 / £1.49.
