Action RPG sequel Nonstop Knight 2 is coming to mobile later in the year
Don't stop never stopping
We really liked Nonstop Knight, the idle RPG that came out a couple of years ago, calling it "a casual game that keeps the flavour of its inspiration without becoming too diluted," and giving it a shiny Silver Award when we reviewed it. So you can imagine we're pretty excited to tell you that Flaregames and Kopla Games have announced that a sequel is heading to mobile this year.
It's called, unsurprisingly, Nonstop Knight 2, and it's hoping to build on the successful foundations laid down by its one-thumb-controlled predecessor. You can expect more action, as well as a slightly more hands-on progression system that's going to let you twist your character into a shape that better suits the way you play.
The main way you play will involve pegging it about, smashing everything that moves, unleashing your special moves, and levelling up. It's going to be all about the numbers, all about the progression, and if the team behind the game gets things right it could end up being pretty special.

Just because you're not in control of everything, don't think this is going to be a dumbed down experience. It's built by a team with a passion for action RPGs like Diablo, and hopefully that's going to shine through in everything the game does.
We don't have a firm release date for the game yet, but you can expect to hear much more about it over the coming months. Considering the original has been played by more than 15 million people around the globe, we imagine a lot of you are going to be pretty excited as well.
If that's the case you should definitely be sure to keep an eye on Pocket Gamer, because we're going to be covering the beejezus out of this one.
