Ngmoco is already gearing up the first of its premium iPhone games, Rolando (a LocoRoco clone, which we're quite excited about) for imminent release, and is following it up with a couple of iPhone-exclusive budget titles.

"Rolando, MazeFinger and Topple are the first three of more than a dozen Fast and Premium Apps that we have under development and scheduled for release in the coming months," Neil Young, founder and CEO of Ngmoco, said. "We are very excited to begin revealing all our Apps and start showcasing what gaming on the iPhone and iPod touch can be."

MazeFinger is a special effects-packed touchscreen-controlled arcade action game featuring 200 levels and 1000 unique mazes. Topple aims to recreate the dizzying tower-building puzzle game heights of Tower Bloxx with a wry, comical lilt; the first of its kind on the iPhone.

"We're committed to ensuring that the iPhone and iPod touch become the best handheld gaming systems in the market," Young added. "We're going to get there by building great, native games both ourselves and in partnership with some of the best new and experienced game makers in the world."

Both games are due for imminent release and should weigh in at no more than 59p - excellent news for the iPhoner on a budget.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
