Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 'coming soon' to iPhone
EA stealth-announces new racer
It’s not been officially announced via press release yet, but according to EA’s FIFA 11 App Store description there's an iPhone version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit on its way.
The picture above is of the console version of Hot Pursuit 2, before you get too excited.
Without details it’s hard to speculate, but there's a new Hot Pursuit home console title in the pipeline, so it's likely to be an iPhone version of that sequel rather than a direct port of an older game in the series.
Previous Need for Speed games have served up a neat compromise between realistic(ish) driving physics and the sort of chunky, pick-up-and-play gratification that’s perfect for the iPhone.
