Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit roars onto iPhone in New Zealand

EA’s high octane take on cops and robbers, racing game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, is now available ahead of its console release on iPhone and iPod touch.
The iPhone app features 15 cars and 24 career events. As a cop, you’ll have a toyset of tools to lay down the law, including roadblocks and electrical system frying EMP locks. You can also continue your feud with a friend, as the game offers up local multiplayer over wi-fi and Bluetooth.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit features Retina display on the latest devices, but is compatible with all iPhone and iPod touch gadgets.
Currently out in New Zealand, the game will be yours for £2.99 / $4.99 / €3.99 when it hits international stores overnight.
