Web-based RPG fighter looks real

We picked up on a sneaky screenshot of an iPhone adaptation of MyBrute a little while back when perusing the pages of Hysteria Project developer Bulkypix.

We got a resounding "no comment" as to whether or not the French developer is indeed bringing the hit web-based RPG fighter to the iPhone or not, but a couple of new YouTube videos have surfaced that suggests it is.

There's no indication of who the developer is on the videos (Bulkypix could be publishing, rather than developing), but the first video looks the most believable of the two, as it shows the game's essential character creation system in operation.

The second video shows the fighting action of MyBrute, which is much trickier to authenticate since even on the web version there's no player interaction. It could just be a recorded video, though the difference in the screen ratio suggests it's probably genuine.

Anyway, it's interesting to see another hit web-based Flash game being ported to the iPhone. At this rate, Flash developers are going to be switching platforms, too.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
