MyBrute online beat-‘em-up coming to iPhone?
A sneaky screenshot suggests it is
For those who’ve not crossed knuckles with this addictive web based beat-‘em-up, MyBrute is an immensely popular free-to-play Flash game, which borrows heavily from the fantastic realm of Japanese doujin soft fighters.
It also lets you create your own cartoony characters, and provides lots of upgrades as you work through the levels.
While stumbling drunkenly around the internet, we happened upon a screenshot of MyBrute for the iPhone, clinging to the bottom corner of Hysteria Project developer Bulkypix’s website.
It’s currently listed as ‘under development’, so we’ve been in touch with Bulkypix (the team who also put together the iPhones most downloaded game, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, fact lovers) who gave us a good, juicy “no comment”.
For now, get on over to the free online version and get yourself addicted. It’s easy to see how well MyBrute would translate to the iPhone (which needs more fighting games), so keep a close eye out for more news as we get it.
