My Brother is a Super Hero is a cute, retro-themed game made to promote a kids book, and it's got a refreshingly unique idea at its core.
Asteroids are hurtling towards the earth, and you drag and drop coloured orbs to smash or repel them. Big comets break in two when struck, which can cause you headaches.
It plays well and is reasonably addictive, but it's easy to get overwhelmed to the point where it's almost impossible to win. Plus, the game's a little one-note and shows all it has to offer in the first few minutes.
The lack of leaderboards and an annoying, repetitive soundtrack also stop it from being as good as it could be.
