Find out whodunnit in murder mystery adventure Blue Toad Murder Files

Relentless Software has just announced on its Blue Toads Twitter account that the iOS version of its Blue Toad Murder Files series will be available on April 11th.

Originally released on PS3 back in 2009, Blue Toad Murder Files is an episodic point-and-click adventure based around interrogation mechanics and mini-games.

Though it has its own unique characters and visual style, it's directly inspired by murder mystery TV shows like Miss Marple and Midsomer Murders.

Blue Toad Murder Files can be played by up to four people, with each player attempting to out-sleuth the others.

Each of the six original mysteries - complete with its own chapter - takes place in the sleepy village of Little Riddle.

Though the setting is idyllic, however, it isn't long before things take a turn for the fatal, and you're forced to question the locals to discover a killer's identity.

According to Relentless Software, Blue Toad Murder Files will go live on the App Store on April 11th and has been built from "scratch for mobile".

Though we have yet to see any hard evidence, we can deduce that additional chapters will be available via in-app purchases.
