Ms. Pac-Man chomps her way onto iPhone
Choice of touchscreen or motion controls
Namco Networks America has a longstanding relationship with Apple, so it's no surprise to see it supporting the iPhone App Store from day one.
Ms. Pac-Man is its first iPhone game to go on sale. It's a faithful conversion of the arcade original, featuring 256 stages of dot-gobbling action.
How do you play Ms. Pac-Man on an iPhone? Good question. There appears to be a choice of two control methods.
One has a virtual joystick at the bottom of the screen, which looks like a proper one you'd find on an old-skool arcade cabinet.
The other option is motion-sensing controls - you tip the iPhone left, right, forward or back to make the lil' lady move. I'm betting the first method is the most efficient, but the second is the most fun.
Anyway, Ms. Pac-Man is out now on the App Store, costing £5.99 here in the UK. Check out its iTunes product page by clicking here.
