Mad Processor's handsome jungle racer Motorblast accelerates onto iOS App Store
Welcome to the Jungle
Mad Processor - the German studio behind Uber Racer 3D - Sandstorm and Parcel Panic - Post Car Racing 3D - has launched a new driving game on iOS. It's a rather striking jungle racer, and its name is Motorblast.
The game's got a full 60-mission campaign, spread across seven different tracks and divided up into ten different modes.
You've got normal races, coin-collecting sprees, time trials, mad dash minefield runs, and all-out vehicular warfare with weapons like rockets, machine guns, and EMP blasts.
There's also a local multiplayer mode (over wi-fi or Bluetooth) for four players.
In controlControl-wise, it's got both tilt and touch options. Plus, you can stop the camera tilting with your vehicle if it's making you queasy. We had a quick blast and the tilt controls stand up well.
The graphics are pretty good, and the game is optimised for iPhone 5 and fancy new Retina display iPads. There are also lots of trackside details, like swinging monkeys and dive-bombing biplanes.
The game's out right now on iPhone and iPad. It currently costs 69p / 99c, but that price is set to rocket (see what we did there?) in a few days.
