Moto Joe is a bike platformer by way of Flappy Bird, and it doesn't really work. It's too inconsistently cruel, and too easy to put down.

The game sees you controlling a motorbike. Tap on the screen and said bike will leap cartwheeling into the air.

There are coins to collect, and points to score, although what it is you actually score those points for is kind of hard to fathom.

And it's also hard to figure out why you're dying sometimes. The timing required for the jumps isn't quite right, and sometimes you'll just land on your head for no particular reason.

As one-touch arcade experiences go, Moto Joe is one that's best left alone.

There's a neat idea here, but Moto Joe just isn't good enough to see it through

Harry used to be really good at Snake on the Nokia 5110. Apparently though, digital snake wrangling isn't a proper job, so now he writes words about games instead.
