Morpha is a minimalist three-lane auto-runner that neatly ticks all the boxes of the genre. You switch lanes, dodge under scenery, and jump over obstacles.
There are also lanes to rebuild and obstacles to destroy by tapping. Then there are power-ups to collect, which can be upgraded with the coins you pick up.
Passing through checkpoints speeds the game up, and if you buy the Premium version you can resume from any restart point you've previously passed.
But even the clean presentation can't hide a painfully slow start. Throw in occasionally unresponsive controls, and it's obvious why Morpha will never be more than a brief time-killer.
