More details on iPhone and iPad shooter Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus

The latest Gameloft podcast has gone live, and as usual it contains nuggets of new information on the studio's line-up. One of these nuggets is a new space shooter called Star Battalion, and other morsels concern Dungeon Hunter 2 and Gangstar: Miami Vindication, which is out soon.

Gameloft also shares more details on Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, sequel to the Silver Award-winning Modern Combat: Sandstorm.

Black Pegasus – which is not to be confused with forthcoming console shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops – will feature gyroscope controls, three playable characters, and 12 battlefields across Europe, South America, and the Middle East. It'll also support multiplayer.

No details have been released concerning price or release date, but judging by the screenshots it's fairly close to being complete.
