Disney has just let the cat out of the bag and into the circus in its newest animal-oriented physics-puzzler Mittens.
Seemingly created by an evil genius with his finger on the pulse of modern smartphone gaming culture, Mittens contains elements from some of the most popular mobile games ever made.
Composed of equal parts Where's My Water?, Cut the Rope, and Angry Birds, then, Mittens involves your guiding a lovesick kitty through 75 level of physics-puzzling mayhem.
Cat's in the (charging) cradleFire up Mittens, and you'll find yourself staring at the streets of Paris. You have to propel our feline hero - called 'Mittens', by the way - towards a bottle of milk by flipping down awnings and directing Mittens onto springy power cables.
As you progress, Mittens will encounter flying birds from which he can hitch a lift, and TV antennae to catapult him Angry Birds style across the rooftops. Collecting gems, meanwhile, will increase your star rating, and provide a lovely gift for Mittens's paramour Mia.
Our initial impressions of Mittens are largely positive, though it may contain just one-too-many mechanics to become The Next Big Thing.
You can download Mittens on iPhone for 69p / 99c [buy], and on iPad for £1.99 / £2.99 [buy] right now.
