Mirror Wave is a simple twist on the endless runner that sees you tapping to adjust the flight path of two criss-crossing wave forms.
These two distinctly coloured waves move along a central line, like mirror images of each other - though they can also cross over. Their colours determine which side of the line they need to be on as you pass through a succession of dual-hued gates.
It's quite a novel challenge, constantly rewiring your brain on the fly as you switch the wave forms over.
The trouble is, it's a little too stripped back and simplistic for its own good. More problematic is Mirror Wave's ad system, which is hugely intrusive and just plain broken - video ads can't be skipped, forcing me to quit out to bypass them.
Mirror Wave is a decent idea, but it needs to go way further - and to drop the awful ad system.
