Sega has announced that it is working on a sequel to its successful Vocaliod rhythm game Miku Flick.

The project, unveiled as Miku Flick 2 is expected to be on the iPhone and other iOS devices 'soon', according to Anime News Network.

While good news for Vocaloid otaku and fans of rhythm games in general, the announcement of a sequel to Miku Flick seems a bit premature.

The original iOS game was released in Japan in early March and made its way over to western App Stores in April.

Many fans of Miku Flick were hoping for Sega to add more levels and songs as in-app purchases, but with the announcement of Miku Flick 2 it seems that they must make room in their hearts, wallets and iOS devices for a full sequel.

If Miku Flick 2 follows in the footsteps of the original game which requires 927MB of available space and costs $13.99/£9.99, this may not be the easiest thing for Miku fans to do.
