BeaverTap Games has just released a new trailer for the third entry in the Mikey series, Mikey Boots. And it looks a good deal flappier than the previous two instalments. Not that that's a bad thing, mind.

This time around Mikey is propelled through the levels automatically and you push on the left side of the screen to rise to the left, and the right to rise to the right. Letting go sees you drop back down.

There are 42 levels set across six different worlds, two playable characters, 230 disguises, and a bunch of achievements to unlock. Game Center and MFi controllers are supported as well.

Mikey Boots has been submitted to Apple for approval, so it should be out at some point in the foreseeable future. We will, of course, let you know as and when we hear any more.
