Math Academy – Simple and dumb
|
| Math Academy

Math Academy is a free to play algebra-based puzzler. You swipe through buttons of numbers to clear the board and end with zero.

The swiping itself is satisfying enough, with some nice sounds and a scruffy, handwritten art style, but the puzzles are mostly either too dull or too complicated.

Problem-solving quickly becomes frustrating, leading to a more haphazard, trial and error approach.

Worse, the overcomplicated puzzles are underwritten by only simple – and sometimes incorrect – maths, so there isn't even much educational value to completing them.

So although Math Academy contains an interesting root in its swiping mechanic, its puzzles provide little enjoyment or education beyond that.

Math Academy looks the part, but is deceptively boring, and dumb to boot
