It's bigger, but is it better?

Mass Effect Infiltrator for iOS gets new bonus mission, manual aiming, and more in 'massive' update

The "massive" Mass Effect Infiltrator update that we told you about back in March has finally hit the App Store, packing an all-new bonus mission and several tweaks that should help combat the issues raised in reviews of the game.

For starters, this update introduces a whole new control scheme. Yes, you can now disable the game's tap-to-aim option (which now boasts improved responsiveness) and try your hand at some manual aiming.

If you're as good as you think you are and you manage to earn three stars in each of this shooter's chapters, you'll now earn new mission rewards, such as bonus credits and War Assets.

Other new features include "Paragon & Renegade" - which sees your facial scars and biotic colours change in accordance with your morals - and optimisations for Apple's new iPad.

Mass Effect Infiltrator is available on the App Store as a Universal app for £2.99 / $4.99.
