Marvel Puzzle Quest gets team-ups, a new name, and Deadpool

Match-three superhero battler Marvel Puzzle Quest has just added sarcastic anti-hero Deadpool to its ranks, in a huge new iOS update.

Plus, developer D3PA has ditched the "Dark Reign" bit of the name, so it can focuses on other slices of superhero fiction. Such as a new storyline called Deadpool vs. Marvel Puzzle, where the merc beats up everyone in the game.

The update also adds Team-Ups where you can call on heroes who are not in your immediate party, and various other fixes. Read all about them, here.

We gave the original game a Bronze Award and said "Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign won't win any awards for innovation, but it's a good little match-three puzzler with strong art and enough depth to keep you returning for more."
