RocketCat Games working on a Mage Gauntlet iPhone dungeon-crawler spin-off
'No idea' when it's coming
RocketCat Games has announced on Twitter that it will release a Mage Gauntlet spin-off at some point in the future, though it currently has "no idea" when that'll be.
The new title will be a dungeon-crawler (think Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter) but will feature a completely new randomly generated dungeon every time you play the game.
You'll be able to explore these arbitrarily constructed lairs using "multiple character classes", and battle a range of foes with "new AI".
RocketCat has stated that it probably won't announce a release date until it's ready to submit the new app to Apple's approval process.

Mage Gauntlet managed to earn a Pocket Gamer Silver Award when we reviewed it back in October, so the upcoming spin-off is definitely a game to keep your eye on.
