DS Music game Maestro! Jump in Music coming to iPhone as Maestro Green Groove

Developer Pastagames recently picked up an award for best in-game music at the Milthon Awards for its tuneful DS and DSiWare music/rhythm game Maestro! Jump in Music, and is celebrating by bringing the songbird to iPhone.

Pocket Gamer has exclusively heard that the game will be published by French iPhone stalwart Bulkypix, and released under the name Maestro Green Groove.

For the uninitiated, this is a platform game that seamlessly blends music/rhythm action into the gameplay as your songbird star, Presto, walks along a line of guitar strings. Your task is to pluck the strings using the touchscreen to catapult Presto onto the next level.

Pulling up on the string allows your feathered performer to drop down onto the string below, so you can change course while collecting up items that keep the beat going.
