Developer Hyperbolic Magnetism has been busy with their recent releases like Chameleon Run and Perfect Paths, but now they've returned to their vampire-incinerating puzzler Lums with new levels and other changes, in the game's first update since 2013.

While Lums shares some similarities with the physics-based gameplay of Angry Birds, its puzzle revolve around manually guiding special orbs around levels to destroy vampires with rays of light.

Mindless destruction will usually work against you; instead you must carefully manipulate the environment and use each orb's ability in tandem - ranging from reversing gravity to turning objects into glass - to expose the vampires to sunlight.

This update expands Lums with eight new levels, support for all current iOS devices, an Apple TV edition, performance improvements, and also removes all in-app purchases from the game.

In our review of Lums, we praised the originality of its light-themed physics-based puzzles and its blend of strategic planning and satisfying destruction.

Lums is available for £2.29 / $2.99 on iPad and iPhone.
