LivingSocial's new application lets you flaunt your faves

Got a big collection of iPhone games? Why not boast about them to your Facebook friends? A new service called LivingSocial lets you do just that.

It's a Facebook application which, once added to your profile, lets you enter the iPhone apps you're currently using or have used in the past, along with an optional five-star rating and a review.

The apps are displayed on your profile as icons within the LivingSocial widget, letting your friends click through to buy them from the App Store if they wish.

The app also serves as a discovery tool, recommending games and apps that you might like based on your existing collection.

LivingSocial has a catalogue of thousands of iPhone apps for you to add to your profile, although not everything on the App Store. If you want to add an app that isn't covered, you can enter it yourself or ping LivingSocial to put it in.

Every iPhone owner is a bit of a show-off at heart - you know this is true - so we reckon this Facebook app could take off. Give it a go here.
