Last week, 8bitWar: Origins took centre stage as the freebie and, like I said, these games seem to be taking turns on sale at the moment.
In Apokalyps, you're doing pretty much the same thing but with different levels - 180, to be exact. Hire units, place them strategically, and see if you'll survive the oncoming war.

Bulb Boy
This 2D point-and-click horror puzzler follows our brave, but frightened, Bulb Boy on a rather trippy journey. He wakes one night to find his Grandpa-raffin missing, his faithful Mothdog gone, and his house overrun with nightmares, and must to everything in his power to not fall victim to them.
It's up to you to figure out the puzzles, defeat the monsters that lie waiting in the dark, and try really, really hard not to get killed in the many colourful ways available.

Uh-oh, you've ended up in prison yet again you daft ol' thing. No worries, you've been here before, you'll be here again, and you're pretty good at escaping by now.
Craft items, scrap with inmates, create distractions, complete quests, come up with an intimately devised plan, and run for the hills once you're free in this strategy game.

Flockers
I'm sure you've played Lemmings before, right? Well, Flockers has the same key concept with more of a gruesome flair. Guide your sheep past a series of nasty obstacles and try your best to keep them alive.
You've got 60 levels, so think carefully. But remember, these sheep aren't all helpless. Some can fly up walls, jump high over perilous drops, and maybe even sacrifice themselves for the sake of their sheepy friends.

Penarium is a marvelously sadistic circus extravaganza by Self Made Miracle where you take on the form of an antihero, Willy.

Sheltered is a post-apocalyptic management sim where you gather supplies, build your new home, and try as best you can to defend it from enemies. Like This War of Mine, you'll face a number of difficult choices daily.

Yes, alright, after giving most of Team17's games their own spots this week, I'm throwing the Worms series in as one 'cos why wouldn't I?
