Brain training games have been big business for a while now, but this latest addition to the genre, KuGon, doesn't seem to exhibit the same mini-game maths test style we've become used to.

Featuring over 95 different puzzles, you bludgeon intelligence back into your brain by completing number-based challenges called 'MoZaics', which then reveal a series of trivia-based tests.

It's always been something of a surprise how much fun these pocket gaming maths lessons can be, and IVRelams promises KuGon can be played for just minutes at a time to keep up with your cerebral exercises, whilst remaining entertaining enough to provide hours of brain-busting gameplay.

With a system that allows for continuous gameplay (rather than the usual completion of a day's training, repeated until tomorrow) and a multiplayer option, KuGon looks like a very interesting, and relatively inexpensive alternative for those who've graduated from Dr Kawashima's class.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
