Painterly space exploration game Kometen launches for iPhone

A comet has shot onto iPhone and iPod touch in the form of Kometen.
Created by independent developer Erik Svedang, Kometen is an exploration game in which you zip around space, checking out the universe by orbiting different planets.
There's no real goal in Kometen - the idea is to float around, acting like an interplanetary sightseer.
With vibrant watercolour graphics, gawking like a space tourist isn't all that hard. Just check out the trailer below, which shows the game in all its beautiful colour.
Kometen is available for iPhone and iPod touch at a price of £1.79/$2.99.
