Cel-shaded, graffiti-tagging, J-pop-rocking, Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio has vanished from the App Store on iOS, and it will disappear from the Android's Google Play shop soon.

A SEGA spokesperson said that the game "showed some minor compatibility problems" with iOS 8. "Ensuring that all of our fans have a quality game experience is paramount to us, therefore we've decided to take the game off the store".

"We don’t have yet a fixed date to communicate regarding their return to the App Store and Google Play". So if you've been meaning to get this game on your Android (it works nicely on Nvidia Shield) you should get it sharpish.

We gave the original iOS version, with its shonky touchscreen controls, a 5 and said: "a broken version of one of the finest electro-rollerblade games ever made, Jet Set Radio is a disappointing coda to a gloriously multi-coloured legacy".
