Niantic is gearing up for two years full of real world events for its first AR game, Ingress. Over the course of 2018 and 2019, players will be treated to a brand new series of gatherings in many of the world’s major cities.

Ingress paved the way for Pokémon GO. It’s an AR sci-fi adventure that plays out in real life between two factions of players, The Englightened and The Resistance. The two opposing sides gather during in-game events to work together to capture Portals masked as everyday landmarks. Ingress amassed a tight-knit cult following, and Niantic has hosted over 2,000 events for its fan base.

In the same announcement, Niantic also revealed the next iteration of Ingress, Ingress Prime. It’s currently in development and will give Ingress a new UI and improved sound design, and will be taking advantage of the most recent AR technology.

You can see the list of events in full below. Bolded events are what Niantic coins “Primary” events, which will feature extra special activities including live actors and more. You can get the full scoop over on Ingress’s website.
