Solve puzzles and save your sister in Incredipede for iOS and Android
Coming this summer
Yesterday, Northway Games's Colin Northway tweeted a photograph of gorgeous-looking PC puzzle-platformer Incredipede running on an iPhone.
Naturally enough, this piqued our interest. So, we got in contact with the indie developer for more details.
Today, Northway confirmed that Incredipede will be released on Apple's iPhone and iPad, as well as on Android-powered smartphones and tablets sometime this summer.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, Incredipede is, as mentioned above, a puzzle game.
In it, you assume the role of a strange creature called Quozzle, who has a unique ability to grow new arms and legs and transform itself into a snake, a spider, a horse, and, yep, a monkey.
You have to use this impressive gift to swing, climb, dance, and soar your way through a variety of obstacle-filled environments en route to finding your missing sister.
According to Northway, the iOS and Android version of Incredipede will be - aside from its interface - largely unchanged from its PC counterpart.
So, it should have 60 stages spread across three worlds and a handy level editor that enables you to craft your very own puzzles.
Northway has stated that Incredipede is already running well on mobiles, so its lovely graphics won't be watered down too much. In fact, Incredipede will be "almost as beautiful on phones as it is on personal computers".
Incredipede should be released sometime this summer.
