Impossible Caves is a game about controlled descent. You play as a white square sliding down a jagged arrangement of black slopes littered with white incisor-like spikes.
Tapping on the screen lets you jump, and tapping again lets you double-jump. There are no other controls, so your progress is dictated entirely by gravity, momentum, and the game's fluid jump physics.
And it's hard, with spikes crowded unforgivingly into the vicious caves. Your little square explodes again and again while you look on with the dead eyes of a player paralysed by rage.
Impossible Caves is charmless but mechanically solid game, and if you like a stiff challenge you'll probably get a couple of hours out of it.
