It might like Scottish actor Sean Connery attempting to name his favourite of the Greek myths, but Icarush is actually a surprisingly interesting endless jumper that sees you trying to get as close to the sun as possible.

Different coloured blobs appear on the screen and you need to tap them to catapult yourself upwards. Some offer full-throttle boosts if you keep a finger pushed down, others only appear one-at-once, meaning you have to be quick to pop from one to the next.

It's fast and frantic in a neat arcade way and while there might not be a whole load of meat on its bones, it's definitely a blast while it lasts.

Icarush is set to hit the App Store this Thursday, and when it does it'll set you back the handsome price of 69p / 99c. I reckon it's worth about that.
