Hotel GB mixes Tiny Tower with Gordon Ramsay

The next iOS and Android title from Tag Games ('he' of Car Jack Streets, B-Boy Beats, and Astro Ranch fame) will be Hotel GB - a tie-in with Channel 4's new reality TV show.

Rather than attract a bunch of clueless nobodies, Hotel GB (the TV show) seemingly pulls in the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Mary Portas, and Gok Wan to run a hotel for a week.

The aim of the Hotel GB game, meanwhile, is to "run a hotel, making sure staff are trained, guests are happy, and the celebrity judges impressed in order to unlock new hotel services, build new floors onto the hotel, and even set traps to stop the judges checking up on them."

By the looks of it, Hotel GB will borrow a fair amount from NimbleBit's Tiny Tower. The question is, does Hotel GB offer its own unique spin, or is this another of those clones that are clogging up the iOS App Store?

Tag certainly has the pedigree to do something interesting with the format, so we'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now.
