Match the beats and swing your Hip Hop Goblin sword in Hip Hop Berserker for iPad and iPhone
Hip chop
In Hip Hop Berserker, hip hop is both a popular form of music... and a goddess. There are even Hip Hop Goblins that transform into swords.
Weird.
Hip Hop is actually the one who introduced the music to people. Unfortunately, she's been kidnapped by the evil wizard Hu Man Dong. Guess what? It's up to you to rescue her.
To do so, you'll have to complete ten levels in which you match beats with taps and swipes that correspond to jumps, dodges, and sword slices. Once you've mastered the 'basic' ten levels, you can play through ten bonus ones.
Unfortunately, Hip Hop Berserker's very basic rhythm-based gameplay gets old and repetitive very quickly.
The game's hip hop soundtrack and sometimes-funny cutscenes may make it worth a look if you're a huge fan of that musical genre and / or toilet humour, mind.
It helps that the game is priced quite low, too.
With that in mind, you can pick up Hip Hip Berserker for 69p / 99c on the App Store right now. Word.
