Hello Kitty Tap and Run is so sweet you'll want to brush your teeth after playing it

Namco Bandai just released a free-to-play Hello Kitty endless runner / RPG mash-up and it's ...actually a good deal of fun.

Hello Kitty Tap and Run plays a bit like the Silver Award-winning Nimble Quest, in that you'll recruit a conga line of adventurers to run endlessly behind your intrepid "Warrior Kitty".

There are even boss fights, hit points, stats, and leveling up - all in a Hello Kitty-branded game.

We're as shocked and impressed as you likely are.

Outside of running endlessly, the goal of Hello Kitty Tap and Run is to save the citizens of Toy Town from an evil curse that's either trapped them in treasure boxes or transformed them into big, scary monsters.

In other words, it's your basic Sonic the Hedgehog protocol.

Jests and jibes aside, there looks to be a fair bit of content to sink your teeth into here - and it all comes with adorably twee Hello Kitty branding plastered over every pixelated inch of it.
