There are some balance changes heading to Hearthstone in the not-too-distant future, and Blizzard has a blog up detailing exactly what's going to be happening.

The changes are in response to the Witchwood expansion which landed on the smash hit card game recently.

The main changes concern card costs. The Naga Sea Witch, Spiteful Summoner, Possessed Lackey, and Call to Arms are all going to cost more mana when you play them. Dark Pact is also getting a tweak, which will see it restoring fewer health points than before.

Then there's the quest reward for The Caverns Below, which is now going to make your minions 4/4 instead of 5/5 for the rest of the game.

As you might imagine, there's a lot more details over on the Blizzard blog about why the changes are being made, and you can read all about them at this link right here.

We don't have an exact date for when the changes are going to kick in, we just know they're happening once the HCT playoffs are complete. We will, of course let you know when we know for sure.
