Haste is basically Boggle but on your phone, with some Scrabble stylings thrown in, and a crueller word-using rule.

And it's pretty damn good. You can play against strangers or, if you sign in to your Facebook account, friends.

The aim of the game is to draw lines through letters to create words. You can move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, and so long as you create a word that neither player has played yet, you'll get some points.

There are bonus points to be had for creating words using letters with boosts and buffs attached to them. There's a strict time limit too, and things can get pretty frantic.

Haste is out on the App Store right now, and it won't cost you a penny to download it. That sounds like a pretty good deal to us.
