You'll get your hands on Harry Potter: Wizards Unite in 2019
But at least we're one step closer
You might remember last year when Warner Bros. Studios created the Harry Potter-related Portkey Games, that there was an AR game on the way. While we don't have a specific release date for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, we now know at least that it's coming in 2019.
"But, Emily, we were told the game would be coming at the end of 2018!" I know, but things change and schedules are tricky beasts. In a fresh new video released today, we got a little teaser and new poster to check out on the game's spruced-up website.
Together with Pokemon GO developer, Niantic, the details surrounding Wizards Unite have been few and far-between. The shiny new logo of three iconic wands gives a bit of an idea of what to expect, that and the new description on the website.
From the sounds of it, and this is totally me jumping to conclusions, we might have to find areas in AR where magic has leaked through from the wizarding world into our one - that'll no doubt include all manners of magical beasts, too.
