BitMonster releases another grim and gritty teaser image for its upcoming second game
Urban degeneration
North Carolina-based studio BitMonster Games has released another teaser image for its as-yet-unnamed second game.
In this moody black and white screenshot (posted below), you can see a wrecked chunk of a city, complete with abandoned cars and cracked roads.
This newly released screenshot follows on five months after BitMonster posted a teaser image (below) featuring high-calibre weaponry, shadowy figures, and even more urban destruction.
This time around, though, the teaser image (originally posted on the Touch Arcade forums) came with a note from BitMonster stating that more information on the new game would be made available this week.
It certainly looks like BitMonster's second game is going to be a departure from its first. You see, BitMonster's Lili was a sedate game about exploring a magical island. No gunship-mounted cannons there, thank you very much.
We gave Lili a Bronze Award, describing it as "a gorgeous game with lots of personality and bundles of charm".
That said, BitMonster is made up of ex-Epic Games employees, so they'll likely be quite at home with weaponry and grunting.
We'll let you know when the promised new information is made public. Hopefully, it'll include a name.
